I         My current research focuses on the development of stimuli-responsive nanomaterials based on inorganic nanoparticles, polymers and liquid crystals with an emphasis on solid-state NMR as a characterization tool.

In recent years my group has produced new materials that include  giant cubic lattices of gold nanoparticles templated by"blue phase" liquid crystals, hydrogen bonded liquid crystalline nanocomposites, polymer-liquid crystal nanocomposites and amphiphilic mixed polymer brush NPs.
